Arsenal and Spurs in Talks with 18m Lazio Striker

It been claimed by Corriere dello Sport, that Lazio striker Mauro Zarate is reportedly in London to hold talks with Arsenal and Tottenham over a possible move to the Premier League for his client.

The agent of the Argentina international (his brother) Sergio Zarate was in London on Tuesday for discussions with the Gunners and it is thought they are his preferred choice. Continue reading

Carlos Vela joins Sociedad on loan

Spanish league club Real Sociedad have claimed they’ve signed Arsenal forward Carlos Vela on loan for the season.

This happening only one day after Cesc Fabregas also the Gunners, there seems to be more out going than in-goings. Vela has failed to break into the first team since joining in 2007, after a few impressive performance for the club, it seems that there is no longer a future for the Mexican

Sociedad says Vela still has to pass his medical review, which the 22-year-old will undergo in San Sebastian on Wednesday.

Vela signed for Arsenal in 2007 and has since had loan spells at Spanish clubs Celta Vigo, Salamanca and Osasuna. He spent the second half of last season at est Brom, scoring two goals in eight appearances.

How do you get to Arsenal Emirates by Train

Emirates by trainBeing close to central London and near to at least 3 tube stations the Emirates stadium is very easy to get to by train and London underground.

Arsenal and Emirates Stadium by Tube underground:

Arsenal station: on the Piccadilly Line is the nearest tube station, which is around 3 minutes walk from the Emirates stadium.

Finsbury Park station: On the Victoria line and Piccadilly Lines and Great Northern rail) and Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line, North London Line and Great Northern rail) stations are around a 10-minute walk from the Emirates stadium and Arsenal – these tube stations should be slightly less crowded.

How do I get to Arsenal Emirates by Train?

King’s Cross is the nearest train station to Arsenal Emirates stadium and is the main connecting station for national rail and many underground lines. From Kings Cross station you can travel to the Emirates stadium via the Piccadilly Line to Arsenal or the Victoria Line to Highbury & Islington. If you choose, a short overground overground rail trip of one stop will take you to Finsbury Park station.
